Brief Description of Everest Base Camp Trek
The Himalayas stretch across the northern section of Nepal. Eight of the ten highest peaks in the world are located here, and most are covered with permanent snowfields. The area is sparsely populated, with little vegetation above the tree- line.
One of the main tourist magnets in Nepal is the beast of a hill, called Mount Everest. Mount Everest is, perhaps, the first thing that comes to mind when you think of Nepal. And the Everest Base Camp Trek is understandably one of the world's most popular and spectacular hiking destinations, as it offers fascinating and enjoyable trekking. There is a classic route through the Sherpa heartland to the foot of the world's highest peak. This trek basically fulfills the dream of many people of experiencing the historic route to the base of the world's highest mountain. . If you have ever longed to set eyes on our highest mountain, then the view from Everest base camp will stay with you forever.
Our ascent is steady and well paced to best suit the acclimatization needed. Sunrise on the snow capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kala Pattar. This trek is one for the lover of high places and those wanting to push themselves to the limit. It is a tough challenge and not to be taken lightly with generally well graded paths but some tougher sections along the Khumbu glacier. You can see the great diversity of Nepal at the time of trekking. Villages embrace many ethnic groups and cultures. It is more a cultural experience than wilderness expedition. You will be passing through picturesque villages inhabited by diverse ethnic groups.

| Everest Base camp Trekking started by flying into the precariously situated mountainside village of Lukla. Traveling to these regions with Alpine ascents offers an uncompromising experience. We will have rest day at Namche (the bustling market town in the heart of Sherpa country) for acclimatize and explore the Sherpa's Village (Visit Shyangboche Airstrip, Khunde Hospital etc). These rest days allow time to explore further and to acclimatize, an important factor in your enjoyment of the trek. Sunrise on the snow capped peaks above the Khumbu Glacier is an unforgettable sight from the summit of Kala Patthar. Not forgetting, of course, the personal sense of achievement that many experience at the end of their trek, when it is all over and we fly back to Kathmandu. |

SOME FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS BY OUR CUSTOMERS
How can I enter in Nepal?
Nepal is a popular tourist destination in south Asia. Several airlines have direct and non-stop flights from Middle East and Asia to Kathmandu, Capital of Nepal. There are direct flights from London, Paris, Frankfurt, Doha, Osaka, Shanghi, Mascow, Bangkok, Singapore, Hongkong, Karachi, Bombay, Delhi, Calcutta, Paro, Dhaka, Lhasa, Varanasi.
Do I need to stay in Katmandu?
Kathmandu is the capital of Nepal. At least, you need to spend two nights in Kathmandu before and after your trip. In above cost, we have included two nights accommodation at 4 stars hotel on BB plan.
Can I do Everest base camp trek?
Everest base camp trek is suitable for any walker looking for something a little more challenging and energetic. It does not require that you have any previous trekking or mountaineering experience. Although, daily jugging or walking exercise is useful and you need to be in good physical condition and able to walk for 5-6 hours daily.
When should I come for Everest base camp trek?
February, March, April, May, June, September, October, November are the best seasons. However, July & August are okay and trekking can be done but not so clear visibility due to rain.
Do I need to join with group?
It is not necessary; you have to join with group and follow our group departure date, because private trip departures everyday upon your request and requirements. You can move at your own pace and set your own schedule by not being in group..
What kind of accommodation I can have during the trip?
In Kathmandu, we do provide 4 stars hotel in Kathmandu as per your request and during the trekking, we provide you guest house which is called Tea house. Tea Houses are more like hotels, with hot showers, western food, and private rooms (twin sharing). In this arrangement overnight halts with dinner and breakfast will be in Tea-houses (Lodges) and lunches in local restaurants en-route. Furthermore as you will be staying in locally owned lodges you will be benefiting and interacting with the local community. It will give you a true feel for the Nepalese people and their lives.
What kind of meals I can have during the trip?
In Kathmandu, we do provide you breakfast and welcome or farewell dinner. All Meals on full board basis will be provided during trekking. You have to choose from menu. Freshly cooked food is served at all times (western, continental and Nepali meals are available in all places). Three meals a day will be provided.
Do I have pre-departure meeting?
Yes, at first, our staff will receive you at the airport and transfer to the hotel and our tour leader will brief regarding about the trip. The briefing will cover the itinerary and introduced your trek Leader.
Can I charge camera batteries along the trek?
Yes, Most of the places, you can charge batteries along the trek (per hour USD 2-3 for charging).
Can I extend my holiday?
Everest base camp trek can extend and there are many options and choices to extend your holiday before or after your main trip. Following trips are suggested for your holiday extensions.
